Premiere ALBOQUE

March 23, at 9:30pm, at Castelo de Paiva City Auditorium, Victor Pereira performs the premiere of new piece for solo clarinet, Alboque (2011), by Luís Carvalho. Written for, and dedicated to Victor Pereira, this piece forms part of a cycle of highly virtuosic pieces for solo instruments, which already includes Hornpipe (1997/rev.1999) for solo horn, and Chirimia (2002/rev.2012) for solo oboe.
