As part of the programme for the 2^nd Porto Cello Festival, the Cello Express Ensemble presents the World Premiere of the new arrangement for 12 cellos by Luís Carvalho for Claude Debussy’s symphonic triptych La Mer. After the partial première of the first movement of the work (I – De l’aube à midi sur la mer) in 2022, this second edition of the festival in 2024 will see the first performance of the complete work in three movements.
