Der Untertitel von ‘Fantastic Variations’ ‘homage to Duarte Ferreira Pestana’ verweist an einen der inspirierendensten Komponisten fur hauptsachlich portugiesische Bands. Es gibt Momente im Werk mit deutlichen Verweisungen an das Werk von Duarte Ferreira. Spezifisch an sein beruhmtestes Werk ‘Arco-Iris’ (Regenbogen).
